Visiting Jimmy Carter at his church in Plains, GA

September 24, 2006, Merle and I went to Plains, GA, just up the road a spell, to attend Sunday school taught by Jimmy Carter. The town of Plains has one flashing red light, but they also have a big smiling peanut.

He was actually very friendly and a good speaker. Not bad for a former president!!

The former president and first lady are very gracious, allowing visitors to take a picture with them.
